Donna Hidalgo is amazing in every sense of the word with a dynamic vocal performance on the electronic club thumper 'Frequency', she shows an impressive range and heartfelt delivery.
Donna teamed up with fellow artist Zoe Alexzandra on the feisty club sing-off 'No Competition' where both artists shine bright .A big track sure to burn the dancefloors up with some amazing remixes coming from H&H SoulSurvivors,Manuel Carranco,Paul James & Keith Karnal.
Donna belted out a killer vocal on the dancefloor smash 'Love Overloaded' with some storming mixes from TWILL,MANUEL CARRANCO and Paul James who decided to get funky!! All 3 tracks are featured on 'Paul James presents FUSION' . An album is planned for 2009 which will feature the 3 tracks lifted from the FUSION album

Donna Hidalgo hails from Edenton, N.C. but also calls Baltimore, Md. home. As a young girl, she grew up watching her mother sing in church choir. She always loved hearing her mother sing, and was in awe of her mother's vocal ability and its effect on the church congregation. Her admiration for her mother's singing voice grew into a soon realized destiny, sharing her own vocal talent with the world.
Donnas' first recording session was with her mentor Leroy Burgess. Burgess introduced her to Fonda Rae, who had the dance hit "Get over like a Fat Rat ", and the late great Curtis Hairston who at one point was the voice of the "BB& Q Band ".
She recorded "Love with Direction" as her first solo session which was released on Echo/Vista Recording Label, and in 1994 "My Friend " was released on Grassroots Recording Label. Donna took a hiatus, but continued perform at private events and with various bands. In 2007 she made her return to the house music scene recording "We Belong Together" with well known house music DJ/Producer Oji Morris, a.k.a. "DJ Oji. In 2008 she collaborated up with British producer/songwriter Paul James on his Fusion CD where she recorded "Frequency ", "Love Overloaded ", and sung "No Competition" as a duet with Zoe Alexzandre.
Donna has been busy in 2009 releasing house tracks "It's Been Too Long " on Axis Trax, and her cover of Odyssey's " Inside Out " which was released on Look At You Records and produced by the legendary South African DJ/Producer Shane D. The upbeat and electrifying track "L.O.V.E" was released in November on the Soundmen Wax Label!
Donnas' goal is to help bring a universal appreciation to the house and dance music scene. Although she is an avid admirer of many genres of music, she believes the power of house music is a spiritual journey and a message to listeners everywhere
